Google is announcing a major upgrade to one of its vibe coding platforms: Beginning today, you can now use AI Studio to build native Android apps. With Google AI Studio, you can prompt your idea for an app and preview it with an embedded emulator of Android. When you want to try it out on an actual phone, you can connect an Android device to your computer and install it.

In the future, you'll also be able to invite app testers from AI Studio.
